It is common knowledge that if you want your lipstick to last longer than usual, lip liner is essential in order for that to happen. Whether you prefer to apply lip liner before lipstick, or after as Bobbi Brown’s makeup artist would recommend; we still need a quality lip liner to do wonders for the lip.
My long time favourite is Bobbi Brown’s Lip liner. Mainly because they have such a huge amount of colours to choose from and you will be sure to find one to suit every skin colour and every lipstick.
The benefits of a good lip liner do not stop at helping you to prolong your lipstick wear, it should also help to define and modify your lip contour. Helping to enhance and ensure a smooth lipstick application that minimizes feathering.
I find this lip liner rather rich, creamy and smooth. It glides onto my lips easily without the harsh pencil stroke feeling on my delicate lips. The colour is great and at times I use it as a base before my gloss for a casual weekend date.
This awesome liner is quick and a breeze to use. It does not have funny scent like many other lip liners do and last forever. My word of advice is to invest in a neutral colour that can see you through all your lipsticks or even just a translucent gloss. Beware though, once you get one, you will want to get more just like I did.
