When we hear the words “lip liner” and “gloss” we normally think of those cliched advertisements featuring glamorous fashion supermodels or Hollywood actors. On this occassion, however, I must admit I was totally blown away when I first encountered Chanel’s Lip Liner products.
I had been stuck with old lip liners that tugged on my lips – and let’s be honest – it does hurt with all that tugging and pulling – which also contributes to wrinkles around the lips in just a matter of time. Yikes! That’s definitely something we want to avoid, considering lip liner is something a lot of us apply every day.
When I gave it a try, Chanel’s Le Crayon Gloss Lip Liner just seemed to glide naturally onto my lips like crayon and the texture is somewhere between gel and gloss – less all the shine. This liner is so soft you could almost forget you are applying it. It simply redefines the entire meaning of lip liner.
You will be amazed how long it can actually prolong your lipstick application. This liner isn’t flaky, never uncomfortable and never out of sight. a very good set of reasons to add this to your handbag everywhere you go. The lightly colored with iridescent pigments are exactly what I needed to accentuate my lips. On top of all that, they come in a great range of colors to pick from to match your lipstick or even just the natural tone of your lips. They also last for ages and come with a cutesy Chanel sharpener too.
As for me, I love to apply one that is nearest to my lip color and apply a layer of shiny gloss over it for a lazy day out.
